By using the Social Alerter service, you will need to provide at least an email address, and if you wish, other personally identifying information. I am not a lawyer, so this page is a policy of how your personal information is handled by Social Alerter.

General Information

• Your personal information will not be sold or rented or otherwise transmitted to any third parties. No one but the operators of Social Alerter will have access to your data.
• We will only use your email address to send you the alerts that Social Alerter is all about and to inform you of significant service information, like service outages.
• Any changes to this privacy policy will be announced in advance of the date on which the changes take effect. This will give you a chance to opt out of the service if you so choose.

Website Usage Data
Social Alerter uses a custom-built website analytics package to track usage of the service. The data is saved into a database and used in aggregate to better understand how the users are interacting with SA, and therefore to understand what is working and what needs to be improved.
All statistics are based on aggregations of data.
